EL1014 dijital giriş terminali, proses seviyesinden ikili 24 V kontrol sinyallerini alır ve bunları elektriksel olarak izole edilmiş bir formda daha yüksek seviyeli otomasyon ünitesine iletir. EtherCAT Terminali, sinyal durumlarını ışık yayan diyotlar aracılığıyla gösteren dört kanala sahiptir.
