KL1408 dijital giriş terminali, proses seviyesinden ikili 24 V DC kontrol sinyallerini alır ve bunları elektriksel olarak izole edilmiş bir biçimde üst seviye otomasyon ünitesine iletir. Her Bus Terminali, sinyal durumlarını ışık yayan diyotlar aracılığıyla gösteren sekiz kanal içerir.
